Welcome!
My name is Hayley Nielsen, owner of Life & Death Doula Hayley. I have lived in Canada for my entire life. I am a welder by trade but decided to take a leap of faith in September of 2023 to begin my journey as a death doula. I was first inspired when I had received an e-newsletter from an author that has written many books about how to read tarot cards and other metaphysical things. This changed my life!
I view myself as a life and death doula as I believe one can not fully embrace their life if they do not embrace their own death. I also love cycles- the seasons, the moon phases, the duality of our own light and dark, and the challenges and the opportunities that we must go through. I love holistic health and how it is great for both the living and the dying.
My vision is to ensure a peaceful, dignified, and meaningful transition from life to death. It would be my honor to walk with you through your journey.
